Compassion in Action: Meals, Dignity, and End-of-Life Care
My grassroots community effort is grounded in one unwavering belief: every human being deserves care, comfort, and connection—especially in times of great vulnerability. This work is about love in action, delivered through two vital forms of support:
Nourishing the Community: Each week, I prepare and deliver warm, nourishing meals to unhoused individuals throughout the East Bay. This effort offers more than just food; it provides a moment of dignity, a smile, and a powerful reminder that they are seen and valued.
Bedside Presence: I provide compassionate hospice visits for individuals nearing the end of life with no family or loved ones present. These visits are a quiet ministry, often including gentle conversation, hand-holding, and prayer—simply being a grounding and compassionate presence during their final hours.
